Are teachers’ personal values related to their attitudes toward inclusive education? A correlational study

Inclusive education is a major challenge for educational systems. In order to better understand the background teachers’ attitudes toward inclusive and given that personal values underlie support attitudes, this research seeks investigate link between these two constructs. We tested relationship in pre-registered studies which 326 (Study 1) 527 teachers 2) completed scales on (Studies 1 2), social desirability 2). Our statistical analyses partially our hypotheses. Thus, self-transcendence openness change were positively related while results regarding self-enhancement mixed (i.e., Study but not Conservation education.
